COLUMBUS, Neb. - As the state's economy continues to reopen, the Nebraska Public Power District is getting set to resume normal billing practices.
The company will once again assess late payment charges and go ahead with disconnections for non-payment starting August 1.
Media Service Supervisor Mark Becker told KXCV/KRNW that only 750 of the company's 93,000 retail customers have contacted the NPPD about issues making payment.
